What is a 1974 50hp Johnson evinrude outboard engine worth?

It runs good. The paint is faded and the trim where the top cover goes on is rotting. I have a brand new prop on it. I live in northwest part of Ct.

For what it is worth, I have seen these engines for sale at about $600 in running condition. Doubt they are selling at asking price, so perhaps a bit less?
