    Default Trolling motor hookup

I have an older motor guide on the front of my boat, now I just need some help wiring it up. It has a switch on the foot pedal for 12V, off and 24V. I have a, starting marine battery next to my main motor and a deep cycle marine battery not being used. Any idea on how to hook the trolling motor up so I can use those 2 batteries for trolling motor and 2 fish finders?

I run my finder off the starting battery.
I run my 12 volt Wireless Motorguide off a separate AGM battery. I would not use my starting battery for my trolling motor. I don't need to get caught with a low starting battery that won't crank my engine.

Did you check here for a manual?

    What model do you have?

There are Owner Manuals at the link posted above. They include wiring diagrams.
