will tohatsu trim gauge kit fit on any brand motor?

I have a complete tohatsu trim gauge installation kit that came with my new 2014 mfs40 motor I just bought but I don't use a trim gage so I plan to sell it.

i realize you can make just about anything work on anything but i dont want to assume anything so, what I need to know is will this kit fit on any size an brand of motor or is it specific to tohatsu motor mount brackets only?

i don't want to advertise it will fit on any brand of motor if it wont, so if the bracket needs jerry rigging to fit other brand motors, I want to be able to tell them this up front so there are no issues about it after the sale

Of course it won't be plug-and-play on every motor, but it should be doable.
