97, 75 hp, lines on side of motor?

Can anyone tell me for sure what the lines are on the side of the motor? They are about a 1/4" rubber lines that run to several places on the side of the motor and one runs in under the fuel pump mounting housing. I think that they are recirculation hoses for the extra fuel and oil in the cylinder. I am not sure. I am still hunting the source for water in the number two hole. Replaced head gasket already and exhaust housing gaskets. Need some help can't figure where the water is coming from . I am sure it is something simple.
 
The hoses are for the fuel recirc system.
The water could be coming from the exhaust chest or manifold.
There is a plate with 2 gaskets and sometimes the gaskets will go bad and leak back into a cylinder????
