My forward pops out or 1 time wouldn't go in forward at all. Pops out meaning it might do it once in while or a bunch. Might be when pulling tubers it does it more not sure.
When it wouldn't go in forward, reversed it to dock. A week or 2 later went to get out of lake and it went in forward and got it on the trailer no problem.
i seen an '84 motor cheap with starting issues and wonder if that lower will bolt right up to my '89?
