Black foam in coolant

Hello all,

I have had lots of issues with these Tamd40b and the Ms3c gear cases, now a new problem with the engine one of them has black like foam in the coolant tank. It floats on top of the coolant, I have recently cleaned the heat exchangers rebuilt the coolant pumps and refilled with coolant several time before this happened so there was none of this in coolant prior to this happening any ideas? Thank you for the help in advance.

Check if there are bubbles coming out the coolant when you have the engine running and warm. Most likely thing I can think of is that you are getting combustion or exhaust gasses into the coolant, or maybe an oil leak via an oil cooler or head gasket etc.
