As stated my riptide SP w/i-pilot 55# continuously shuts off at 90 and 100% power. At this point I think there's something wrong with the wiring on my boat because this isn't the first NEW motor that has done this. It first happened with a Maxxum and I thought it was the motor so I returned it 
To the best of my knowledge the wiring in the boat is the same as what's on the motor and the discretion on the wires read the same on both, but the wiring on the boat does appear to be a little smaller in diameter. When the motor shuts off it beeps and I have to restart it at a lower setting. Up to 80% it runs fine. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
