flooded engine

I have a 4 cyl. mercruiser I/O floods easily. how is the best way to crank boat after it floods. has automatic choke. any help be appreciated

motor should not flood easily , sounds like it needs some type of servicing.

cranked right up first start. then after riding a while tried to crank and carb flooded. does it need a kit its been serviced.

carb might need a rebuild or at least check the float height
