I just rebuilt the carbs on my 2004 VMax. It's running well through the entire RPM range, but now the motor is ticking, in and out of gear, and it increases with the RPMs. I idled around at 600 rpm to see if I could count the frequency; it was half - 300 tick minute at 600 RPMs.
I changed the impeller about 3 hours ago, but I've ran it since and it wasn't ticking prior to the carb clean/rebuild.
I also replaced all the plugs when I did the carbs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
