Ultrasonic cleaner

Anyone know if it's OK to put a disassembled carb in a ultrasonic cleaner.My friend uses one to clean his
scuba regulaters.It seems to get all the grime out of them.Thought it might work well on a carb.
Have'nt seen the Tohatsu_Guru on here lately.Anyone know if he's OK?

i have used a ultrasonic cleaner on auto carb parts with no problems. due to the size of the unit i had, i just went back to using the 5 gallon berryman carb pail/dip.
