Won't return to idle completely

I have a82 johnson 90 hp sea horse. It runs great but when you put it in neutral the idle is still a bit high. If i take off the hood and push the lever it idles down to a normal idle. Anybody have any ideas why it's not coming completely back.. Thoughts and opinions be great... Thx

Thank you for the info.. There's two black gear wheels there, can you elaborate a little more about the adjustment to be made? The one looks a little beat up so I don't want to make any extra adjustments. Thanks again.
 
???--One is for the shift !--------Turn the wee wheel on the throttle cable and see if it helps.-If it gets worse than go the other way.
