limit & sending unit .....

i have a 1980 nova wellcraft with a 260 ... i restored ,i have everything back in place except the sending unit conection to the ingine .the limit switch works great cut off where its supose to can anyone tell me where the sending unit gets connected ? thanks
 
facing the motor on the left side above the fuel sep are a circuit breaker and a slave solenoid .just to the right of the solenoid should be a square plastic block .the upper screw holding the block supplies the ground, and the lower one has the trim gauge wiring
