1980 Merc 9.8 Inlet Needle & Diaphragm Questions

I have a 1980 Mercury 9.8, model #110, serial #5638185. Engine carb #1364-7909. Two questions.

1. What is the correct part number for the inlet needle, 1399-6141 or 1395-9022?

2. Concerning the fuel pump diaphragms and gaskets, how many are required to rebuild the pump? I have seen diagrams showing 4 to be used and also diagrams showing 5 to be used. Which is correct?

The word Mercarb is cast onto the side of the carb. The only number to be found is 1364-4929 and it is located on the strainer body. So, what needle and diaphragm/gasket part numbers should I use?
