Hello how to replace the impellor in the water pump??? can anyone tell me how to remove the bottom half of leg with shaft in it. undone the 4 screws and 1 nut it wont come out please help, 30 h/p/ johson 82 model
 
No 30 hp model listed for 82 ---------Shift disconnects at an oval window on the exhaust housing on some.------On later models you remove the black plastic water intake screen to disconnect the shift rod.
 
i had to remove the starter to get to my disconnect link,on some the lower unit may drop a few inches to expose the linkage.
