Can anyone tell me the size of the flywheel key for this motor. I picked one up at a local omc dealer and it sits flush with the crank. He clames it is what the book calles for but It was not in an omc package just a clear ziploc.
 
The key does not stick out very far.-------The key merely locates the flywheel for proper ignition timing.-------The flywheel is driven by the locking tapers when properly torqued.

Yes I know how it works but as stated the key he sold me is FLUSH doesn't stick out at all. Just like the one that sheard.
