I have a 2001 250 evinrude ficht and it turns over a long time before starting (5 seconds) It has 2 new batteries, new starter, new plugs and I did index them, fuel pump runs for about 5 seconds and then shuts off and that when I try to start it. It seems like it turns over fast as the starter does not labor. after motor starts it idles and runs great. Computor was rebuilt by DFI technologies at the end of last year.....It has always done this hot or cold.....Is this "normal"?
