looking at puchasing an older boat (1986) with 454 crusaders, 1100 hrs,compression check shows all cylnders mid 90s. Okay?

Ayuh,.... 90 psi is a rebuildable Core motor,....

Anything under 100 psi is a Core motor,...

A Solid runnin' motor oughta be showin' 130 psi to 150 psi,....
All within' 10% of each other,...
 
Was the compression test done properly? Engine warm or cold? All plugs removed, carb throttle wide open, and 4 compression strokes per cylinder, etc. 90 is definitely low
