I've got a 2006 Honda BF135. At idle I can hear a loud whining sound. (wa wa wa wa sound). With the boat on the trailer and running the engine on a garden hose, I notice the noise between the top of the lower unit and the bottom of the extension case. Is it the driveshaft bearings or water pump?
It's been going on for awhile. The engine runs and idles good. Good water pressure from the pisser and lower unit.
Any input would be appreciated.
