Yamaha 15 h.p. 4 stroke 2011 idle problems

I have a new 2011 15 h.p. 4 stroke had it out for the first time put about 1 hour of running time on it. Engine would not idle. Gave it some gas it fired up but would not idle. Does anyone here have any ideas what the issue could be. Please advise....... Thanx Dennis
