Timing reverse rotation engine

I keep forgetting .....Reverse rotation is #1 plug the same on both engines? 6 degrees BTC (advanced) is that below the TDC mark instead of above it as in the standard rotation? These are early 350's.

#1 cylinder is always the furthest cylinder towards the front of the engine.

As you time the ignition for it either base advance or total advance, you will be doing so as though you are viewing a Std L.H. Rotation Engine harmonic balancer in a mirror!

Remember, we fire up on "base", and we idle on "base"....... and that's it!

Your important numbers will be the progressive and the total!

No. 1 is in the same spot.

If both engines use the "standard" (LH) timing tab, then BEFORE and AFTER have the opposite meanings on the reverse rotation engine.
