Help with Evinrude Finding the year it was built.

Hi Guys
I have a chance of buying a Evinrude 25 but the guy that is selling it doesn't know the year it was built he thinks it's a short shaft but he's not very sure.
I have seen a pic of the engine and it looks a short shaft to me as well but he has no idea how old it is but it does look in fairly good condition is there anyone can help with the age these are the numbers he has given me Model number HE25RSW serial number is B300248

That # does not exist according to my lists.Check for the ID tag on the swivel bracket or on the quarter sized welch plug on top of or right rear of powerhead.
