I have a 1994 DP-C1 and the trim UP will not work (most of the time) unless I press both the trim and tilt switches together even if the drive is all the way down. Trim Down works fine. I checked the switches and wires in the throttle handle and all seems OK. I also switched the 2 relays in the dash to see if it would make any difference and it didn't. Also switched 2 relays on the trim motor and no change. About the same time this problem started the trim gauge started working erratically. I'm thinking the gauge probably due to a bad sender. I was wondering if the sender could be causing both problems. Is the sender connected to the tilt/trim system possibly telling it when to stop etc ? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
