G'day all,
New member here so firstly I'd like to say hi.
I have a Johnson 3.3 hp outboard that the pull rope snapped off, so I pulled it apart so I could replace the rope and now I'm stumped as to how the return spring sits in the top of the assembly.
I have taken some snaps of the pieces in the hope someone on this forum has a knowledge of these outboards and how the spring sits in there. I can put all the pieces together but just can't remember how the spring was sitting in that white piece as I pulled it out.
I've searched the internet the last few days looking with no luck whatsoever.
Appreciate any advice
