40hp 1987 Johnson Electric choke coil

Hi,
I have a 1987 Johnson J40TLCUD 40hp Outboard Motor. It recently started blowing the 20 amp fuse when I push in the electric choke with the key switch.

Can anyone tell me what the OHM reading should be when I put my OHMMeter across the terminals?
I am not sure if I have a bad coil or a bad wire somewhere.
Anyone have a similar issue and might have some troubleshooting tips?
 
That unit is normally only operated for a few seconds so not likely bad.--Look for issues with the wiring.---Reading on it is from 4 to 7 OHMS
