Value: What are these engines worth?

I've got a pair of 454s, 350 HP, vintage circa 1971, built by Thermo Electron Corp. Need overhauled, but otherwise in pretty good shape. Need to sell them. What are they worth?

I would say not much more than a few hundred bucks each in their current condition. We have a few boat yards in MD that have tons of those sitting around from boats that were scrapped. One boat yard I know, waits untill he gets a few dozen or so engines then takes them to the scrap yard.
 
If these have been Raw Water cooled for 43 years, I doubt that you'll find a Marine type buyer.

Since the 454 is now out of production, some of the classic car restoring people may be interested in them. Tough to say..... all you can do is give it a try.

I see heat exchangers and cooling system spacers on the exhaust. If the blocks and heads are rebuildable, contact a rebuilder they will pay more than a scrap yard. The transmissions and reduction gears have a value also.
