I have a 6v53t in my launch and it is running a bit hot when I run her over 2200rpm as it gets up to 195f. I have a external oil cooler that will be cooled by sea water that I an going to fit..
I was hoping to run the oil from the return on the turbo through the cooler then back into the sump.
Will I have enough oil flow from the turbo to make a difference?
The fresh water cooled oil cooler that is standard on the motor is the small non turbo oil cooler.
I did not have enough room top run the turbo oil cooler.
