Lower Unit drain plug Gaskets

I have 3 outboards, a 2007 Merc 75 hp, and 2 Johnsons,,,, a late 70's 25 hp, and an 80's 50 hp,, all 3 use the flat style lower unit drain plug gaskets,,, can I just buy 'one' package, of high quality flat gasket that will work for all 3 motors,,,, or do I need 3 packages of gaskets,,,,

Ayuh,.... Generally speakin', most All outboards, 'n I/Os use the same fill screw, 'n drain screws, 3/8"-16,....

So,.... Anybody's drain screw gaskets fit anybody else's drain screws,...

I sorta' thought that,,, but some argue only use OEM for everything,,,,,, like with mix oil, or lower unit oil,,,,,,, like a Johnson [OMC] guy shutters,,,,,,,,, if you use Mercury oil, or generic/non OMC oil in an OMC motor,

The gaskets are the same dimensions,,, the Merc ones are a yellow somewhat softer material, than the Johnson white ones. I was thinking of just buying the Merc gaskets 'for all' ,, since the Merc is the newest motor in my stable,,,,, sure I could buy a bag of each,,,, but do I really need to ?

In this case it does not matter what colour washer you use here.----Use the white one for all your motors!
