Honda Bf8 Water Getting into the Motor Oil??? Help!

I changed the head gasket and water O-ring and I'm still getting water in the oil pan?? There are no oil leaks. The old head gasket really didn't look that bad but I would think it might have been the biggest culprit for water entering the oil crankcase. Motor is an 8hp BACL-1001299, I believe its in the 1987 to 1991 year range, just not positive of year. I hate to pull the oil tank if thats going to be another waste of time, What else could be causing the water to be getting into the motor oil?? The dip stick holder is made out of metal not plastic.
thanks for any info.

Could be internal crack in the engine; could be a failing o ring/grommet at the top of the water tube; could be the o ring under the dip stick holder (even though it is metal).

It looks like you will have to pull the powerhead and check underneath it, to see if any gasket or seal has been compromised. While doing so, you can check/change the o ring under the dip stick holder.

Careful inspection....careful inspection....careful inspection.

Unfortunately, there are no magic bullets.
