1989 Merc 90hp
I took my boat for a run on a small lake near home a couple of days ago to burn off fogging oil and test after I replaced thermostat, impeller, and fuel pump etc.
When I was putting the boat on the trailer, to get it up the final few inches, I had to use full throttle. I noticed as I looked back that the motor moved inwards like I was trimming in. Was this just because I was using full power and the boat was stationary? (max force on trim unit).
On shore I opened the resivoir for hydraulic fluid and I couldn't see any down the hole, so this maybe the problem? How full should the resivoir be?
