I have a 1965 Johnson/Evinrude Frankenstein 40 HP with manual shift and I'm currently using the original Johnson Shipmaster dual lever control box with it. I would like to change to a single lever control system. The ignition/start key is in the dash, not on the control box, and the engine is equipped with an automatic choke (not electrical). All I need from the control is the shift and throttle functions.
Any advice on what type of control will work with this set up would be much appreciated. Thanks
