Honda BF25 Vacuum Test

In 2001 I purchased a new Honda BF25 outboard and it ran trouble free till this year. I knew better but I let it set through the winter without draining the carbs.
It would start fine and run well at low speed, but bog down at wide open speed. I knew the high speed jets were stopped up, so after watching a very good how
to video on taking the carbs apart to clean them I ordered new jets and replaced them. Well the shade tree mechanic got it right because after two trips to the
lake it runs just like before. My question is do I really need to have it vacuum tested since it is running just fine.

You do not really need to vacuum balance the carbs, but you will not know it they are the best that they can be while idling.

In my point of view its better to have vacuum test. because you will be get assured after that. That what is the exact problem. I have just purchases accessory from Auto Mammoth Maf Sensor, it is really giving me the best quality, you can checked out this once.
