My DF90A has developed a strange squeek. After being tilted up into the lock position, and allowed to sit for a few hours or more (like on the trailer in my garage), when I lower it back down and start the motor (on muffs or at the dock) it will have a strange rattle-squeak sound that sounds like it is coming from the lower unit area. The sound lasts 30 seconds or so, then gradually goes away. Once it goes away, I can turn off and restart the engine with no sounds. It almost sounds like a belt slipping.
Engine's performance is great, no loss of power or fuel economy. Pee stream is strong.
Anyone have suggestions on what to check? Would an impeller squeak like this then go away motor warms?
