90hp Mercury sparking

I have a '79 90hp mercury that I recently purchased. While adjusting the carbs the other day I noticed sparking on the ground wire that goes from the #2 coil to the case. The motor seems to run fine but does anybody know what this sparking is from? Thanks for any help.
 
If that doesn't fix it, look for it to continue to spark. If that is the case, the bakelite cover on the coil may be cracked.....New coil is in order.
