Does anyone know of a MerCruiser boneyard for parts for older 525SC..as in my previous post I need a MerCruiser Rev Limit Ignition by firepower or a 1992 525SC
Thanks in advance

Cant any other type of system work? rev limiter can be added to any ignition. If not marine specific try JEGGS
I'm down in the Florida Keys, no one around to work on SC engines, I would have to go up to Miami 65miles away and at that I don't know of any one, but I just may have to go with a new system..I have been told by Merc to try MSD....

It's not a marine only part.

You have the part number ?

My guy at Kodiak customs can get anything.

Ed you know them they used to be at the track ?

My part # is 814295A2 superseded to 814295T2..complete different unit than a 823755T1/823755A1..I have a few leads on a original unit or I may go with a new set up MSD or Daytona..thanks
Oops my apologies , I looked up the wrong engine year / serial number.

Just in case, here is a test procedure if needed.

I doubt this but this place is claiming they have one.

If no luck, you may want to try calling Eric over at Teague Custom Marine @ 661-295-7000 to see if they have one lying around in the back someplace as well.

FYI, the original part number was 817140 before superseding to 814295A2 & 814295T2.

Good luck.:)
