Hull fiberglass repairs of narrow scrapes

I have some small scrapes in the bottom of the boat. I haven't done anything about them but recently decided it's time to tackle this project. In the attached image, what would be the best? I don't know if you can simply apply resin and hardener in the gouges over the existing cloth, if I should still try and put some small strips of cloth and then the chemicals, or if I can use bondo.20130719_220912.jpg

No Bondo...unless you like to redo projects.

Once you clean and prep the area, use a two part epoxy with a high strength filler to get most of the strakes' contours re-established. you can then use a fairing compound to clean up the surface.

I'm old school and got used to West Systems a long time ago...406 or 404 filler, if i remember, would be a good choice, depending upon what you have access to....lots of similar products around now so its mostly a matter of personal preference nowadays.

I went to my local marine shop and he said it was just the gel coat and sold me this stuff named Hi-Bond. Anyone have any experience with this?
