Hey guys, I just purchased a boat that has set up for a couple of years. If the VRO is going bad, will I get get any warning light or indicator to let me know. I'm debating on disconnecting it and mixing 50-1 in the gas tank. I don't know alot about 2-strokes but I do know I don't want to run pure gas through it and burn it up. Any thoughts would be appreciated
 
Get a manual , There are comprehensive instructions in there to inspect / repair / test the VRO.-----Quick easy test is to mix gas and oil in a 5 gallon tank. Mark the VRO tank. Run that 5 gallon tank empty and check how much oil is needed to get the oil tank back to the mark.
