ultrasonic cleaner solutions

recently purchased a us cleaner. getting ready to clean my carbs. i need to know what to use as a cleaning agent . thanks.

I use MINERAL SPIRITS mixed 3 parts with 1 part DEXRON auto trans fluid for cleaning carburetors and fuel injectors in my JEWELERS Ultra Sonic cleaner. Makes sure parts are completely submersed or you will have to turn them and hit them again. I then soak in AERO-KROIL and drip dry. Finish with a SPRITZ of carb cleaner.

If you have injectors that simply have clogged screens and tips, this will make them spray like new. You still have to completely dismantle carburetors and verify orifice flow before reassembly.

NOTHING works on worn pintles, idle mix screws and seats, eroded jet orifices, cracked jet tubes or high resistance coil windings. Those must be replaced.

I'm interested to see what others use too as I'm always open to using better methods and not having to pay for expensive "snake oil" solvents.
