2005 bf 90 main nozzle removal

I have the dreaded idle miss and coughing at low speed. I pulled the carbs the other day to clean. I could not figure out how to remove the main nozzles and the slow jet without destroying them. I had an out of town fishing trip planned for the next day so i didnt need any destroyed parts. I'm back home now and ready to to fix this aggravating thing. the honda repair manual shows the slow jet inside the main nozzle. is it sealed with o rings? any suggestions would be appreciated. I read through several posts on the forum. this seems to be a good place for info.
