I'm trying to find out what motor I have

I just purchased a 1960 Century Restorer. The guy told me I have a Thunderbird 292 but I don't think he's right. It's definitely a Ford Y Block Intercepter motor my serial # is B9AE6015F.
Does anyone know how I would find out what motor this is

See if you can find a block casting number, or pull a valve cover and look at the cylinder head casting number, then do a search.
 
Can anyone help me with an engine ID issue? I have a 1966 correct craft mustang with an interceptor engine - not sure if it is the original engine. Engine serial number is ra1r318025. Can anyone identify the specs/year from that? I am having problems buying parts and am thinking it is a vintage issue.
