2- 30 lbs thrust trolling motors

I have 2- 30 pound thrust trolling motors that are both 12 v each. If I use them at the same time together on one shaft with the sam control, do i need to run them 24v or 12 v . I hope I explained that well enough. Thanks for any help.
 
if run in series 24v...parallel 12v....i dont know if your control will handle the extra current.....dont expect double performance..the props will probably be running in each others turbulence...and your battery will get 50% or less running time per charge...
