Normally cause by one of three things......

1 - Fouled carburetors: Clean and rebuild them

2 - Timer base sticking under the flywheel: The throttle butterflies opening up too soon in relation to the timing. Just make sure it isn't sticking as you advance the throttle.

3 - Throttle butterflies opening too soon: They should just start to open when the scribe mark on the metal cam aligns dead center with the throttle cam roller, not before or after.

It's usually fouled carburetors!
