Freeze plugs

89 galaxy, 4.3 Mercruiser. Dealers are telling me 9 out of 10 times freeze plugs come out, that engine block will be cracked.
Do you all agree or disagree with that. I hope not,
 
Ayuh,.... 9 outa 10 sounds 'bout Right,....

But,...
It depends on How the temps went down,....
If ya had a soft Freeze, 'n it warmed up, it might be Ok....
If ya hard a hard, Quick Freeze, she's no doubt junk...
