I have a noise in my transmission that sounds like a marble rolling around in there. I can only hear it at idle and even if I increase rpm only slightly it stops. Anyone have any ideas on weather this is a serious issue? Any thoughts on this would be helpfull as I am new to diesel engines. Thx
 
Likely to be the flex plate (aka the damper plate) springs being damaged...if so, the fix is to replace it
