NORMAL OPERATIONAL TEMPERATURE RANGE? 5litre v8

Can anybody advise what the normal operational temperature range should be for a 5ltre v8 mpi engine ?
My Temperature gauge is showing 80 degrees which seems high to me
 
The MPI is hopefully fitted with a Closed Cooling system.
There will be sensors that will require a prescribed operating temperature.

See your OEM service manual for the correct temperature.
Not Seloc.... not Clymers... OEM.
