2002 XR6 problem

I need help bought a used engine from a dealer about a month ago it compressions out great starts easy appeared to be a great engine problem is when boat gets put under load the motor appears to but under power and will sound overheat alarm. Took to a mechanic and he checked water impeller, theromstats, and coils. He said he did not know with out digging deeper into engine. So I need help any ideas this is a mystery and now it is costing me money by the day if anyone has had this before let me know what your problem was. Also it is showing high water pressure at idle and peggs gauge out 3000 rpm.
 
I have a XR6 200 water pressure is 12psi at 3000 rpms check your gauge I only get 15psi at 4000 rpm my motor only has 10 hrs on it . change your temp sending units in top off both heads they are 2 different types . had this problem with my dads 150 hp 2001 model. also if you have not change thermostats to cheat and easy change to keep from over heating motor.
