A relative bought a new TM and gave me his 2003 Pro 6700 model 9BV52FAAN to replace my broken one. The shaft is longer than I need for my boat. It does not look like the shaft is adjustable. Is it possible/practical to cut off some of the shaft? Thanks for any help! Richard
