I have a new Tohatsu MFS83EFL that I am going to install a Troll Master remote throttle and Tiny Tach on. I do not relish drilling holes in the cowl to pass the cables. I did notice an oblong hole on the bottom of port side lower cowl that has a rubber plug in it. The plug already as a slit in it. Would it be ok to pass the two cables through this rubber plug/grommet? Any better ideas?
