92 evinrude 150 with OIS ignition

Disconnect both yellow and black stop wires on the power pack. Run the engine and see if the dead bank has ignition.

Test two, Swap the stator wire pairs to the other bank and see if the problem moves. If it does the stator is bad.

FYI CDI sells a complete kit for this engine. Stator, power pack and the optical sensor. I change them all as a set.

I tried unhooking black and yellow wires from shift interrupter no luck. I do not know what wires go to stator so I did not try swapping wires.
