I recently got a whaler through family that has sat a while. It will be a whole until I go pick up the boat from storage but below is a picture. Any idea on the year?

also what would y'all suggest to do in order to get the motor in running shape? It has not been ran since 2007 and was stored outside until now. I'm not really mechanically inclined but I will try my hardest to do what I can before I have to take it to a shop and spend money that I just don't have
 
You need to determine if fuel was left in the carburetors when it was last run.---------Recommend changing lower unit oil.----Install a new waterpump impeller < that is a must do.----------When you run it I recommend mixing oil at 50:1 untill you determine that oil injection is " in service " and indeed working properly if so equipped.
