How to remove driveshaft clutch on a Tohatsu 2 strokes 25HP (1998) ?

Hello guys,

I need some advices to remove the driveshaft from the gearcase as shown in the picture.

It seems that the driveshaft (on the left in the picture) is locked inside the gearcase housing (see next picture) :

As show in this schema, the part is the n° 3 :

And finally, how to remove this bearing from the driveshaft ?

All theese questions are for replacing short driveshaft with a long one on a new gearcase housing.

Hi,

I succeed to remove the short driveshaft one by forcing it to get out from its place. It's the part n°4 which was hard to pull.

Now I need to do the same operation on my long one : due to salt, it's quiet hard. I will use chemical product to eliminate the salt and try again.

I also succeed to remove the bearing of my 2 drive shat : the short and the long one.
